This training is designed to prepare foster families and adoptive parents to handle medical emergencies. It covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, and the management of emergency situations specific to children in care. Recognized by the DPJ and health centres, it provides the skills needed to ensure the safety and well-being of children under your responsibility. Available in multiple formats, this training enables you to acquire practical skills and respond with confidence in emergency situations.
School EnvironmentFirst Aider – School Setting (8h)
This first aid training is essential for school professionals, such as teachers and supervisors. It teaches them the skills needed to respond effectively in medical emergencies, such as choking, epileptic seizures, or accidents. The program covers emergency recognition, CPR, airway management, wound and bleeding management, as well as trauma and shock care. Our general first aid training, covering infant and child CPR, is designed for parents, caregivers, teachers, and early childhood professionals in Quebec. Compliant with the Educational Childcare Act (R.S.Q., c. S-4.1.1, s. 20), administered by Ministry of Family (CPE licensing). 8-hour course, 3-year certification.
